Winner: Larry Smith
This is a picture of my cat Maggie sitting in her favorite place in
my apartment , the couch in front of the window. I was just finishing
off a role of film I wanted processed when I saw her sitting there
and the light looked really good for a silhouette. This image was
taken with a Canon EOS 3 using a Canon 28-135mm IS lens on Kodak E100VS
film. The original slide was scanned onto a Kodak Photo CD by a professional shop
in Chicago.
Wolf and Danny
Donna Eaton tells us "This is Wolf and Danny, neighborhood dogs that are best friends. They visit every afternoon and can always make me
smile". She created this image using a Nikon CP950 digital camera
at 28mm, in macro mode, no flash, using a tripod.
We're guessing that the ferocious one on the left is Wolf.
Flofy
Roberto Melendez writes "Flofy was a cute little hamster that was given as a gift to my
daughter. She used to love to run around the house in her
ball. She passed away, causing a lot of anguish for my daughter, and we end up buying her another hamster. This photo was taken
days before she past away". This image was created using a Nikon F100
and 35-105mm lens on 100 speed Fuji film (type not reported) and was
scanned using a Microtek v6UPL scanner.
